So, if you're perhaps a little larger in certain places than you wish you were, one of the things the fashion doctors will prescribe for you is to emphasize your smallest part. Well tailored jackets, empire waists, etc.
Not sure placing the emphasis around the knees is what the fashion doctors had in mind, though.
