- Attending an awards dinner, 29 November. A classic repeated Letizia LBD. Can't go wrong.
- a) and b) At the XIVth State Congress of the Voluntary work, 1 December. Mmm...maybe we should've left the scarf on, I'm thinking.

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 20-26 November
Here's what Letizia wore from 20-26 November:
- At the farewell ceremony before departing for an official visit to Chile, 21 November.
- In Chile, day 1, 22 November. Hey, I'm just happy any time she goes with red.
- Still on day 1, 22 November, in Felipe Varela. Now, see, this is the kind of thing that only Letizia could pull off. Lurve.
- Official dinner, 22 November. This is a chic little outfit...but, urgh. Maybe sleeves are better. Not exactly flattering on the upper body.
- Day 2, 23 November. Another cute little white number that's just childlike enough only she could handle it.
- Still day 2, 23 November, and the much worn navy suit has returned.
- Day 3, 24 November, prepped and ready for a Chilean safari...or something.

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 25 September-1 October
Here's what Letizia wore from 25 September - 1 October:
- Opening the Basque Culinary Center, 26 September. Elegant. Crisp clean white is ages better than a gray or beige suit!
- Opening a seminar on language and journalism, 28 September. Little jumbled, but that orange bag is adding a needed pop.
- Attending an awards presentation for the Spanish Foundation Against Cancer, 30 September. Lovely, and I think someone got a haircut.
- Opening "VIIth National Congress Scientist - Relatives MPS Spain", 1 October. The cardi makes this quite casual, but she's doing so much color experimentation - for the whole week, really - that I'm a happy camper. Delightful.

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 3 - 9 July
Here's what Letizia wore from 3-9 July:
- At the opening of the Ja-Ye Europe Enterprise Challenge, 6 July. I thought this was quite nice. Certainly a better use for that Mango shirt than tucked into the baggy pink skirt!
- Attending the graduation ceremony of the Air Force Basic Academy, 8 July...and I echo once again the stuff I said for the same event last year.

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 19-25 June
Here's what Letizia wore from 19-25 June:
- At a meeting for the Prince of Girona Foundation, 21 June a) the Zara dress, and b) the purse. This is a cute little dress, but I think one of the girls accidentally had a craft hour with that bag...
- Attending a dinner, 21 June.
- At the opening of the Foro Impulsa conference, 22 June. The blue suit is back (again), but at least she shook up the top she wore it with this time, I guess?
- Awarding the IMPULSA Prizes, 22 June. Now here's a repeat I can get behind! Viva la mod Mango dress!

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 3-9 April
Here's what Letizia wore from 3-9 April:
Photos: Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images/Zimbio/Diario Feminino
- Family outing to the zoo with the Queen, Felipe, Sofia (a) and Leonor (b). Let us pause for the cuteness, and for me to figure out if I can get Sofia's shoes in my size. Now, on to Leti: the whole trousers half out of the boots thing would drive me nuts, but it's otherwise pretty cute zoo safari gear.
- Opening the "Spainskills" vocational training exhibition in Madrid, 4 April. This is one of those outfits that's just there, if you know what I mean. Just...brown.
- Visiting the Mango factory, 7 April, a) on Letizia and b) from Mango. The Mango factory!! It's like the mother ship has called her home! And she dressed up all special for it too, and I am all aflutter. I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. The dress is so cute, that whole mod flair it's got going on is to die for. The color is so pretty on her, and it's so fresh and summery. And the shoes! I love a nude heel. It's like adding an extra 4 inches to your legs, free of charge. Who could argue with that?
Best of the Week
Well, my worst of the week would be #2, but I'm done looking at pictures of that. Let's look at more pictures of the pretty pink instead, okay? More things I'm loving here: the hair (parted over to the side, very flattering this way) and the blush. I like the clutch too, though I would have brought some giant Mary Poppins bag along so I could pilfer as much as humanly possible. (I suppose it's good to know she doesn't possess a mind as criminal as my own.) I thought since I don't usually gush about Letizia, I'd just go way, way overboard this week, how's that?Photos: Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images/Zimbio/Diario Feminino

Royal Style Duel: Letizia vs. Aimée
Last year, we saw this Mango dress modeled by our usual Mango model, Letizia:
And this year, it's déja vu my friends, on Dutch Princess Aimée earlier this month:
Suit up, it's time for a duel! Who wore it best?
Me, I'm actually rooting for Letizia. Dark tights with light shoes make me want to crawl in a hole and cry. Plus, I dig the chunky belt. Et toi?

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 23-29 January
Here's what Princess Letizia wore the week of 23-29 January:
Photos: Diario Feminino/Mango
- At the ballet, 24 January. A good look for a private occasion, I think. I even like the scarf.
- a) Audiences at Zarzuela Palace, 27 January, b) the jacket from Mango. When I first saw this, I thought we might be having a Mr. Rogers moment, because this jacket sure did look like a cardigan. But it's clearly not, and the overall look is pretty well put together.

Here's what Princess Letizia wore the week of 19-25 September:
- Opening the new school year in Lardero, 20 September.
- Opening an exhibit in Castile and Leon, 23 September, a) front view, b) dress and cardigan from Mango, and c) the back view because you need to see the patches on the elbows.

Week in Review: Princess Letizia, 29 August - 4 September
Here's what Princess Letizia wore the week of 29 August - 4 September:
Photos: Terra/Zimbio/Abaca/Purepeople
- Dinner in Mallorca, 30 August. Looks like she's trying a little Mette-Marit move with the shoes there.
- Audiences, 31 August. OH NO. She brought back the Hammer pants. Just to spite me, I'm sure of it.
- Audiences, 2 September. Uh oh, somebody caught the stripe infection from her sister-in-law. Is it just me or is this dress just out of character for her? I mean, I'm surprised she chose it. Doesn't feel like her style.
- Audiences, 3 September. This one again.
Best and Worst of the Week
I don't mind the striped dress, but the jacket adds a little Miami Vice flair to it that I can't get with. So the best has to be the blue one, school-girlish as it is, because the silver get up just doesn't make my skirt fly up. Nothing, though, is worse than the Hammer pants.Photos: Terra/Zimbio/Abaca/Purepeople
